H1 Tag: What is it?
The H1 tag, or the header tag, is the largest font in a document. It’s called H1 because of the location in the HTML code, notated by <h1> within the formula itself. Without the H1 notation, the font will show the same as the rest of the document.
Because the H1 tag is the head of a document, it is often confused with the title. These are two entirely separate aspects of HTML, however. It should also be noted that H1 tags and title tags do very different things regarding advancing the odds that your website or page will be found in search engine results. H1 is imperative in HTML, and it also carries some weight in how a search engine’s algorithms look at your web page.
